Dysco Noir: People You Can Like
Dysco Noir is a production company and performance troupe founded
on the principal that the blatant should only be used when its purpose
is completely unclear. We're not hear to preach nor are we here
to express, instead we just kinda' like to do stuff.
We support local theater, nightlife, art and fashion scenes and
believe that everyone, regardless of how successful or how up-and-coming
they are, deserves a chance to get their voice heard. We don't judge
someone as "underground" or "mainstream", we
don't care if your world famous or neighborhood famous, we decide
who we work with based on our experiences with your work and your
business practices.
The very existence of Dysco Noir is a performance. At parties our
members act their roles. In theater they play their parts. In every
day life they're doing what we took them on to do. Dysco Noir is
about the non-sequitor, because giving away all your cards is no
fun. We produce experiences that are part theatric, part party and
all event. One example of our kind of work is below, it's a piece

Here at DN we believe that the best way to change the world is to
do it yourself, on your own terms. But those terms may come with
obstacles, such as not knowing how to accomplish some part of your
plan, not knowing how to deal with authorities who issue permits
or patrol the streets, or even not knowing where you would find
a sound system in your area for a reasonably affordable price. This
section of the website is designed to offer you informative aids
on how to start up a party crew in your area or simply to build
your community.
